HARD Motorsport Front Splitter Kit - E46 M3

Product Description

HARD Motorsport Front Splitter for the E46 M3 and non-M with the M3 style bumper.

  • Our Splitter is made of a high-quality, aluminum skinned, composite material. Solid core. An affordable option, if a full carbon fiber, multi-layered splitter is out of your budget
  • Easily replaceable. You can order replacements directly through HARD Motorsport
  • Extremely durable and not prone to flexing under high speeds
  • Lightweight satin black top finish applied for appearance. The opposite side is unfinished, so you can flip it over and can be custom painted or vinyl wrapped

Option: HARD Motorsport Splitter Support Brackets

Our support brackets offer a simple solution to secure the Splitter to the chassis/frame. It comes with all the necessary hardware! 2" of adjustability allows for different bumpers and lip combinations. We recommend the ACS style Front Lower Lip/extension. This helps close the gap that the short, stock front bumper cover leaves.

The stock M3 bumper is fairly high without some added lower lip. The shape of the bottom of the bumper itself does not allow use of a flat splitter like this, so naturally, a lot of air would simply spill through the gaps below the bumper. The other issue is, the M3 comes with quite a bit of plastic splash shielding/shrouding under and around the radiator and coolers. If you were to look straight under the car, you would see that the front bumper does not even drop below all of that obstruction.
Our supports were designed to help clear much of that original shrouding when 'compressed' to the lowest setting.  There is a workaround, but it does require modifying the upper part of the support bracket.

  • 66.75" wide - It extends about 1.25" further than the sides of the stock M3 bumper
  • 23.75" depth - You can adjust how far the splitter will extend when you mount it. Max is about 4.5"
  • .25" thick

Note: Fits both M and non-M cars.
