Product Description

Fitment: BMW E90/E92/E93 M3 (2008-2013).

These transmission mounts are made by Revshift in the U.S.A. from high grade polyurethane.

Revshift mounts are the most durable and reliable mounts on the market. CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum flanged ends are molded deep into the polyurethane which prevent the isolated ends from separating under extreme loads. The class 14.9 threaded studs are removable with a hex wrench for ease of installation.




What is Polyurethane?

Polyurethanes are a group of organic polymers that are normally grouped with rubber. Polyurethanes are elastomers which are stretchy materials. They come from the reaction of diisocyanates, long chain polyols and short chain extenders. This process has proven itself to be a flexible method of producing customised elastomers with adjustable properties.

Polyurethanes achieve hardnesses on a wider range than any other elastomer and exhibit outstanding physical properties such as: abrasion, by far better than steel; tear resistance, superior to these of many other elastomers; resilience; load bearing capabilities. Through the years, their special properties made them indispensable in more and more fields replacing other materials with lower properties.

- Our polyurethane is half the weight of aluminum and about 20% lighter than rubber
