The HARD Motorsport Brake Cooling DUCT kit is designed for maximum efficiency specifically for the BMW E46. The Low Profile design allows for more clearance for greater turning radius. An aluminum plate on the exterior side adds even more protection against wear from tire contact. No more destroying expensive flex hose.

Our low-profile ducts were CAD designed from laser scans of the E46 chassis to be compatible with OEM A/C Equipment. The forward splash guard will need to be modified or removed (as pictured) to allow for installation of the duct kit.

Cool air is delivered directly to your brakes via our carefully fabricated backing plate, instead of blasting the front of your tire with unnecessary heat from the brake components. Our kit resolves this factory design flaw.
The HARD Motorsport E36 M3 cooling plate design features our large 'pocket' to allow for more air flow into the proper places. You need it in the E36 M3 brake hat, so the air will travel through the vents into the rotor. We also incorporate an inner hat retaining ring that keeps cool air from venting away from the rotor for maximum efficiency.

- OEM M3 also fitting 332mm, 345mm sized rotors - powdercoated finish
- 355mm sized rotors for BBK - powdercoated finish
** Tire clearance must be checked after installation while the car is on the ground. The ducts may not eliminate all of your contact issues at full lock depending on several variables. Steering Limiters are available if needed.
Designed for application on E46 Coupe and Sedan. Ducting compatible with NON-M E46 models fitted with M3 front bumper. Backing plates not compatible with non-m oem rotors. (Can be modified for fitment) Designed for M3 Wheel. Works best with 18” wheels. Wheel contact at full steering lock may be possible. Steering Limiters are recommended to prevent wheel to duct contact.

I race my car and my previous ducts were always kind of a headache because you could damage them when moving around the paddock or trying to make it back on track after a little off-roading. The new design gives full lock clearance and mine have zero run marks after a weekend of racing.
